Signs is a series of geometric mirrors, designed by Jérémy Murier & Daniel Martinez, made out of only two elements. The cylindrical ceramic bases are concave in the center which gives the mirror the illusion of floating above it by extending the angle of the mirror. The mirrors themselves are made out of polished mirror sheets of copper.

In 2011, American industrial designer Jeff Miller took over the role as head designer of the über popular modern office accessory company Poppin . The London and São Paulo based Studio Swine created the São Paulo Collection of lighting and furniture that was inspired by tropical modernism movement of the 1950′s in Brazil. Scouring the city for waste materials, the duo counted on the fact that São Paulo is known as the “Aluminum Capital” and let that be a source of inspiration for their unique series, while also letting them explore the potential of material. The collection was developed over a four-month residency that was produced for Coletivo Amor de Madre Gallery and sponsored by Heineken

I am not a fan of bar carts. I have seen tons of them, and never have I seen one that I liked—until now. Mai Tai is the name of this modern bar cart designed by Odosdesign for Punt . The simple white trays lift off the trolley for easy serving, too. The trays come in three colors: white, wood, and aqua.

Young design firm, Shift , is based in Monterrey, Mexico and they’ve created a Blu-ray and DVD holder that was inspired by music levels. Levels was born from the idea of wanting to take a look at items that have long been forgotten about, like your DVDs and CDs. With so many people moving the bulk of their music and movie watching to the digital realm, storage for these “artifacts” has gone by the wayside. Levels accommodates your collection into an almost sculptural form that mimics equalizer bars and sound levels that you see on audio displays. Using laser cutting technology, the pieces can be precisely cut for easy assembly

Copenhagen has a mission and that mission is to become the cleanest city in Europe before 2015. We all know huge goals require enormous measures so Vipp created a mega bin that is constructed 8:1 in scale of their original pedal bin – that’s 8.2 feet (2.5 meters) tall and over 6 feet (2 meters) wide! The mega bin will be on display throughout the city as a reminder to keep Copenhagen clean and green. Check it out on its journey: The mega bin weighs 1763.7 lbs.

In Milan during Salone del Mobile, Paris-based company Adentro introduced a new armchair called NINNA by Italian designer Carlo Contin . The hand-turned ash dowel-like chair serves as a frame for leather straps that simply hang down, reminiscent of an outdoor swing. However, the seat is sturdy enough with only a light motion that moves with your body.
