Calouette is a small multidisciplinary design studio located in Michigan run by architect and product designer Michelle Kruzel. They’ve just released a modern perpetual calendar that is marriage of two very different materials, a salvaged timber beam and colorful transparent acrylic. Printed on each acrylic tag is the date, and to mark the current date, simply move the tag forward. You can even mark the acrylic tags with notes or doodles to signify important dates. With this calendar, “moving through the year is a tactile experience, much like crossing out the days on a paper calendar,” says Michelle
