Kaari in Finnish means “arc” and clearly it’s the perfect name for this table by Juhani Horelli . Initially inspired by the landscape of bridges, the form seemed to reveal itself through the Finnish and Scandinavian tradition of mold pressing veneer. Horelli uses traditional craft in a modern way to create new forms for contemporary living. Polished with a lacquer finish, it’s also available in walnut, wenge and stripy birch plywood.
