Ondule is a slip-covered chair by French designer Mattis Esnault that arose from a call for projects from the French design schools. Undulating waves of foam and Kvadrat fabric form a skin-like layer on top of the solid chair form. According to the designer, the chair is an exploration of sound waves and frequency as well as the potential of the materials.
