Matrioshka is a system of wooden storage units that nest inside one another designed by Sasa Mitrovic of TwentyTree and manufactured by S.C.S. plus & Ergomade . Like Russian matrioshka nesting dolls, the largest item holds all the smaller cabinets, which each hold each other and you just don’t know when it’s going to end

AIM , the latest design from Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for FLOS , defies all convention when it comes to positioning your ceiling light. Instead of hanging your light source dead center in your room, AIM breaks tradition because it can be positioned wherever you like, and with as many fixtures as you like. Available as a hard wire fixture or with a regular plug that goes in the wall, the lamps are suspended via long cables that you can swag into a chaotic (or neatly drooped) maze of wires, creating a completely unique fixture specific to your room

Back in 2007, I discovered Grapple , a really cool coatrack concept by Ryan Frank. I don’t know what happened to Grapple, but I was just informed that it’s back and better than ever. Collaborating with TAPEgear , Ryan has created a new hanging system for coats, hats, bags and such inspired by old, industrial crane hooks that’s a sustainable version of his earlier design. Not only is it eco-friendly – it’s an entirely new take on a natural material we all know and love: grass. Manufactured by Biowert Industrie GmbH Germany , the hook is made from an amazing recipe for moulding natural plastic using a composite material called Agriplast, made from a small percentage of recycled plastic and real grass clippings.
