Plumen 001

Described as the “world’s first designer low-energy light bulb,” the Plumen 001 is named after a plume, the decorative feather of a bird. The name is especially fitting, as helpful as a bird’s feather is to the bird is as helpful as the Plumen 001 is to the environment. The Plumen is created by London design company, Hulger.

Lasting 8 times longer than traditional incandescent bulbs, the Plumen 001 also uses approximately 80% less electricity than such bulbs. The design of the Plumen is so stylish and unique that it can be used alone, hanging as a bulb, yet also looks decorative peeking out from behind a lampshade.

How would you incorporate the Plumen into your decor?
