Nendo is on fire . Their new Scatter Shelf will be presented at the Carpenter’s Workshop Gallery in London during the Frieze Art Fair , and then at Friedman Benda in New York. The shelf is composed of 5mm black acrylic formed into a grid and stacked in layers. They describe the shelf beautifully when they say that it looks as though objects are “caught in a spider’s web when viewed from the front.” Also, when one passes behind, it creates a kaleidoscope-like effect.
