German design group Voxel Studio created SUESSLICHT , a pendant lamp made of sugar. Each shade is formed in a cone-like shape that resembles a sugarloaf, which is the original form that refined sugar was produced and sold. Partnered with simple hardware and primary colored, textile-covered cords, these lights are pretty sweet (sorry, I couldn’t resist). The shades are made when sugar crystals are mixed with a water base, then pressed and dried, forming the thin, crystalline shell

Stockholm-based o4i Design Studio set out to push the boundaries of what is beautiful in design and chose to create the perfectly imperfect Dent Chair for Blå Station . Dent Stack The o4i crew wanted to challenge themselves and to accomplish the impossible by achieving the desired “dented” effect via a molding technique. The crinkled 3D surface is made from compression molded ash wood veneer and not a typically used 3D veneer, which is much easier but very expensive. Dent NoStack So what could be your average multi-purpose chair becomes a comfortable chair with unique texture, kind of like a piece of crumpled up paper. The Dent Chair is available in various finishes and leg bases, and comes as either a stackable or non-stackable version

I am in love with these new diamond sheets and pillowcases designed by Judy White Studio for Design Within Reach . I can’t help myself – I think the biggest question is which color to choose? A DWR exclusive, these 200-thread-count Egyptian long-staple cotton percale sheets would add a more exciting vibe to my super boring beige bedroom

Based in Valencia, Spain, designer Clara del Portillo is well versed in graphic, industrial, and interior design, and her diverse portfolio reflects that but it’s her simple Opot design that really caught my eye. The design holds a plant on an indoor or outdoor wall, giving new and easy ways to decorate that bare space or fence you have in the backyard. Made from a piece of the incredibly durable DuPont Tyvek film and two eyelets, the design easily hangs when the eyelets are matched up.

We all love to curl up on the sofa for a nap or a marathon TV watching session ( Duck Dynasty , anyone?) and the Collerette convertible pouf, designed by Les M Design Studio for Casamania , is the perfect aid for that. Available in a single or double version, the footrest has a rolled-up blanket attached to cover your feet when you’re ready to get cozy. It doubles as a chair when you need extra seating – just roll up the blanket.
