This Flower Pump vase by Veneri Design Studio is another interesting anatomical heart piece (remember the Ventricle Vessel and Corezone ?) except this one is on a nice base and includes quite a few openings for single flowers. I think it would be cool if you weaved a plant in and out of the holes. While visiting The Museum of American Glass in southern New Jersey*, glass artist Thaddeus Wolfe noted a technique of incorporating colored glass into clear molten glass, used to create floral patterns. Inspired by this technique, Wolfe presents his latest series of free-blown glass vases called Inclusions . Instead of creating flowers, Wolfe creates an abstract form with a simple palette that appears to be suspended. This latest series is available at Matter .

Inspired by flowers and nature, the Bloom is a modern lamp that opens to exemplify a bud transforming into a blossom.
The Bloom is available in two sizes, 40 cm tall and 55 cm. It transforms from a bud to a blossom with a single movement of the hand, as shown in the image above.

The Lava Collection by Studio Mango for Gutzz is a beautiful, edgy series of handmade ceramic vases and bowls inspired by lava streams. The destructive lava that flows after a volcano eventually cools and once again provides fertile ground for plants and flowers. “It proves that beautiful things can come after destruction.” http://www.studiomango.nl
