Supported by a tubular steel structure, the Lounger is a modern chair mixed with a touch of classicism.
The seat and back of the Lounger is made from varnished walnut plywood, as is the optional footstool for the chair. It can be stained black or lacquered in a variety of colors. The arms, seat and back are upholstered in high quality fabrics or leather, with tons of colors to choose from. Matching metal upholstery buttons add a clean touch to the arms.
The Lounger is a part of the Showtime Collection, designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona Design. To find out where to view the contemporary Lounger, check out BD Barcelona Design’s website for more information.

Newly added to the M2L Collection , the Swamp is an upholstered fauteuil designed by Michiel van der Kley for Artifort to provide the ultimate relaxing experience. The collection features a one-person armchair, a snug loveseat and a pouffe that makes an ideal footstool or extra seat. The entire Swamp family utilizes spiral springs and foam and is upholstered in two contrasting fabrics — a bonus being that the outside fabric does not need to be a furniture fabric. I think the odd name comes from the “sinking feeling” you get when you sit down in the chair.
