Spanish designer Jaime Hayon’s latest collaboration with Republic of Fritz Hansen is called Ro, a new take on the easy chair. If you remember, we featured it a few weeks back , and we’ve been thinking about it every since. We were really excited to get the chance during NYCxDesign to sit down (in Ro!) with Hayon at the Fritz Hansen NYC showroom to talk about this new design. Watch: Our favorite quote: “If you look at your body, I don’t think you have any square parts.” Special thanks to Republic of Fritz Hansen for making this video possible

The new Sé Collection by Jaime Hayon — his first complete furniture collection ever — launches at this week’s London Design Festival. Sé is a UK based, globally sold luxury furniture brand that launched in 2008. The collaboration began when Sé Director Pavlo Schtakleff was looking for something new and innovative that could combine great design with Sé’s craftsmanship and technological expertise. The result is a dynamic, light collection that is both luxurious and original. © 2010 Design Milk | Posted by Jaime in Home Furnishings | Permalink | No comments | Tweet This | Share on Facebook
