Les Ailes Noires is a minimal design created by Toronto-based designer John Tong of +tongtong . Prior to establishing +tongtong, John Tong was a co-founding principal of the design firm 3rd Uncle Design Inc. from 1993 to 2012. The focus of +tongtong is to provide products and designs that enrich peoples’ lives through dynamic environments and phenomenal experiences. Les Ailes Noires is a collection of clothing racks inspired by the simplicity of geometric line drawings.

Such a simple idea, yet so smart! Designed by Bart Lens , the For Your Eyes Mirror not only has the perfect name, it also has the right idea. The minimal design of just a simple long, narrow mirror with a slight curve (that’s meant to mimic an eyelash) adds dimension and light to a space, while still remaining delicate in scale. It’s meant to be hung horizontally at eye level, but it can be placed vertically as well
