I am not a fan of bar carts. I have seen tons of them, and never have I seen one that I liked—until now. Mai Tai is the name of this modern bar cart designed by Odosdesign for Punt . The simple white trays lift off the trolley for easy serving, too. The trays come in three colors: white, wood, and aqua.

Clic Multifunctional Shelf by François Beautour

French designer François Beautour created Clic, a simple wooden board with a recess for placing items on top. It’s enhanced by the addition of a mirror, making it easy for you to check yourself one last time before you head out the door.

Sculptural Tables Named Ike and Stella

Nucharin Wangphongsawasd is a graduate student in the Woodworking and Furniture Design at Rochester Institute of Technology. We’ve featured her XYLO table and Screw rings before – fantastic work from someone who hasn’t even graduated yet! Ike is an ash Hallway table inspired by repetitive pattern construct by using the mixing between hardwood and wooden strips to represent a progression in form start from solid close space to open space which provide light and airy feeling for the overall table. Stella is an ash and wanut side table inspired by repetitive pattern construct by using the mixing between hardwood and wooden strips with technique using wedge to create tension between each strip for creating a structure which start from solid close space to open space. Grapple Coat Hanger Made from Grass

Back in 2007, I discovered Grapple , a really cool coatrack concept by Ryan Frank. I don’t know what happened to Grapple, but I was just informed that it’s back and better than ever. Collaborating with TAPEgear , Ryan has created a new hanging system for coats, hats, bags and such inspired by old, industrial crane hooks that’s a sustainable version of his earlier design.
