Useful Arbeitsloser (Jobless) by Sanghyeok Lee is a series of furniture that reflects the life of its designer. The collection is focused on its joints and resembles scaffolding and construction, which, for the designer, is representative of life in a foreign country. From the designer: A scaffolding resembled a life of a designer who lives in a foreign country in a way that it is always passed by, constructed and moved away without much attention, while being a necessary element in construction sites. Useful Arbeitsloser (Jobless) is assembled pieces of furniture. The brass joints symbolize the weight of life and the act of screwing the joints is a part of a life to create comfort.

Display your favorite books or store your necessary electronics in the convenient and contemporary Nook.
An innovative coffee table, the Nook has a built-in bookshelf that provides a unique way to display your accessories or store extra remotes or pillows.
The geometric flow of the Nook coffee table creates the illusion of floating from various views.
The Nook is designed by Dave Pickett, a product design student at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

Genius design. PowerPOST is only in the concept stage but I think it’s really going to be big. In fact, it already earned a reddot design award.
PowerPOST functions as as the fourth leg of a desk, while providing plenty of space to plug in all of your necessary electronics without the mess of wires under your desk. It’s also eco conscious, by merging two objects into one and thus lowering consumption. I think this is absolutely brilliant. See more here.

Austrian designer Thomas Feichtner has created a new line of tableware called Reset. The side walls of all of the pieces taper toward the bottom edge, creating an almost unstable appearance. Although the bottom is smaller than the top, the structure is not less stable than that of conventional tableware of the same height.
