Skin Collection is a series of furniture covered in leather remnants. Pepe Heykoop used what was leftover from leather furniture companies to cover chairs. Similar to our random skin patterns and cell growth in nature, the leather scraps are pieced together to make unique pieces. The collection will be exhibited at DMY Berlin in June. Two new pieces by Melt Interieur were shown in Milan last month: The 5° desk and Meltingpoint. The 5° desk The 5° desk is a fun, contemporary desk design with a 5° angled desktop, perfect for working on a laptop. Made from one piece of FSC-certified plywood, the desk looks slightly out of balance, but is sturdy and strong. On the side, there is even a power strip for you to plug in your laptop when batter power is low
