LeeLABS is behind a new line of concrete clocks, called Para Clocks , that were designed using parametric software to achieve the radial patterns they were inspired by. Despite being made of concrete, these clocks have a delicate look about them. They remind me of what you could draw with those Spirograph toys from childhood. Currently they have 6 patterns to choose from but hope to use Kickstarter to help them fund the building of an App that will allow customers to create their own designs

I love the idea of the ECOO chair by designer Fiore Arcangelo : a chair that becomes a terrarium. A design where inanimate object meets growing living creature. Made of polycarbonate, the chair would allow the flow of air and light to help nurture what grows inside

The Functional Rhythm Table by the Paris-based designer Emilie Colin Garros , is made from a single sheet of metal. Triangular shapes are cut out and then folded down to form the base of the table making the piece go from flat to three-dimensional. The table has a strong graphic quality created by the positive and negative spaces and imagine how cool light would look filtering through the cutout spaces. It almost looks like a moving fan! Karre Design is manufacturing the YOUMOU Coffee Table , originally designed in 1959 by Sadi Ozis. The table, which I think resembles a planet with rings or an atom, has a special upholstered section for newspapers that can be covered in fabric or leather. It can be covered in water-resistant fabric for use outdoors. You can also get transparent or patterned glass

From the duo of Fetiche Design Studio comes the El Dorado Collection for Schuster . The wood stool comes in two different heights and is made of metal and wood. The legs of the tripod stools are configured in a less traditional way with a twisted, pretzel-like formation. The bar-height stool features a simple metal foot rest.

Ondule is a slip-covered chair by French designer Mattis Esnault that arose from a call for projects from the French design schools. Undulating waves of foam and Kvadrat fabric form a skin-like layer on top of the solid chair form. According to the designer, the chair is an exploration of sound waves and frequency as well as the potential of the materials.

PortiqueArmchair by Paris-based designer Florent Coirier is inspired by garden swings as well as the walk-loading of goods from the port of Nantes/SaintNazaire. Working with the craftsmen of the Autonomous Port,GPM Nantes/Saint-Nazaire, Coirier used aluminum tubing, oak and polyester nautical rope, both materials common to shipbuilding. From Belgium-born, Italy-based designer Joeri Reynaert comes the Tuberack shelf / space divider. Tuberack is easy to assemble and made of solid oak. The clever piece uses no screws or glue for assembly but instead is held together with rubber tubes that can also hold your books and magazines.
