Brazilian designer Roberta Rampazzo is back with a new table that plays around with perspective. The Illusion Side Table is the result of studying the feet of tables and working with the angles of the legs. By angling two of the legs, the table remains stable but it changes the look completely

Materials: Expedit + dice (a lot of them) Description: Recently we decided to beef up our bland Ikea furniture a bit. The victim was an Expedit rack that we use as a hi-fi rack in our living room. I am a huge fan of pixel art and would cover my whole apartment in 8-bit if I could. Anyhow, as we wanted it to be something that is functional and nice to look at, we decided the only reasonable thing to do is to cover the whole rack with a curtain of dice

Shawn Littrell ’s Aline collection takes a contemporary look at tufted upholstery. Littrell reduces the technique of tufting by upholstering individual linear cushions, and then aligns and stacks the cushions together to form dramatic elongated tufts.

The Manifold Clock by Studio Ve is a wall-mounted clock on which the two hands are connected to create a 3D movement. Made of steel and printed Tyvek®, the 3D hands offer a new perspective on reading time. For Spring 2010, Successful Living From Diesel with Foscarini presents a lamp with a shade that tells a narrative through iconic, humorous images. One perspective is taken from a DJ’s deck or pilots’ cockpit, with linear black and white graphics, evoking a more masculine and spiky style.
