Please join me for an exciting Etsy Pop-Up event at the Philadelphia west elm store on Saturday, March 9th from 1-6PM. I’ve curated a select group of 12 local Philadelphia area Etsy sellers to display and sell their beautiful handmade designs and artwork at the store all afternoon. RSVP here . Sunday, I took some time to check out the Hanging Around exhibit of permanent collection of modern and contemporary lighting at the Philadelphia Museum of Art . Here are a few of my favorites from the exhibition: First, I love the Lüster Chandelier, a tongue-in-cheek 2D LED chandelier by German Ingo Maurer. Also by Ingo Maurer is this 2003 lamp called “Wo bist du, Edison?” (“Where Are You, Edison?”).

She now designs textiles, packaging, and branding for clients in the fashion and food industries, sells her stationery line nationwide, and authors the popular Oh Joy blog .
