Corocotta Table by Jason Phillips

The Corocotta table is a new design from Jason Phillips Design . The table is inspired by Corocotta, who — according to historians — was a Cantabrian warrior leader during the 1st century BC. He apparently united Cantabri clans to fight off the Roman army. According to the Roman historian Dio Cassius, a price was put on his head and he walked right into the Roman camp and delivered himself in exchange for the reward, but Emperor Augustus let him go due to his bravery (along with the reward money!)

Amazing Tables from Jason Phillips

continuim-table

Came across this very talented designer, Jason Phillips, today and his Continuum Table, which seems to be getting plenty of attention. It’s easy to see why with a truly unique look. According to Philips, this table is inspired by models of the space-time-continuum and represents the folds of space and time in the universe.

When I went to his site, I was excited to plenty more designs equally as impressive. Shown here are the Blown Glass Legs Table and Gold Rims Drawers.  Fun and totally unique, yet practical too.  Very cool and very impressive.
