I love hanging plants but I’ve never been a fan of those plastic or faux ceramic looking planters they come in. Australian company Mister Moss to the rescue! They’ve created a line of indoor/outdoor hanging moss balls filled with plants that are handmade and one-of-a-kind. They come in a variety of plants but what makes them truly unique is the various colored string that they’re wrapped in and suspended from.

Materials: 1 EXPEDIT TV storage unit, 1 EXPEDIT Shelving unit (1×4), different shelf inserts, clothes rail Description: Inspired by two EXPEDIT Hacks ( EXPEDIT wardrobe with plants & EXPEDITion Small-Room-Closet ) I’ve decided to build my own wardrobe. First I built the 4×1 EXPEDIT shelf as described in the manual. Laying on the long side, it’s the basis for the EXPEDIT TV Furniture

Inspired by the willow tree with its compact trunk, Willow , by Louise Hederström for Nola , is a planter with multiple uses. The planter has openings coming out of its base that simulate branches in which you can grow a variety of plants. The opening at the top can either hold more plants or a wooden disc that could be used as a side table or to turn Willow into an extra seating. I like how you can have your fill of nature in any city setting, even a small balcony or patio.

The Lava Collection by Studio Mango for Gutzz is a beautiful, edgy series of handmade ceramic vases and bowls inspired by lava streams. The destructive lava that flows after a volcano eventually cools and once again provides fertile ground for plants and flowers. “It proves that beautiful things can come after destruction.” http://www.studiomango.nl
