This Rainbow Book Chair designed by Chen Liu is kinda fun. I think that it would be really cool in the kids section of a library or a school for a more playful atmosphere. This first version is made from yoga mats, but she is planning to explore other materials like felt.

The Victor Collection by Luigi Gorgoni for Roche Bobois was directly inspired by the work of Op-art artist Victor Vasarely. The three-piece collection includes a tall bookcase, dresser, and a four-door dresser, all of which come with your choice of 34 colors of their exclusive lacquer. The vibrant two-tone door fronts add more than just pops of color, the graphic pattern adds a playful element to each piece. Just imagine all the possibilities with that many color choices! The collection will be available Fall 2012.
