Get Out! Dansk Collection for Gloster

Dansk is a three-piece collection of outdoor furniture designed by Povl Eskildsen and Phillip Behrens for Gloster . With a nod to 50′s Danish design, the set will give you a bit of a vintage classic feel mixed with modern, for a clean, simple look. Combining warm wood and classic white, the lounge chair, coffee table, and side table make for the perfect minimal set for any patio. The pieces all feature tapered teak legs that support the white acrylic stone of the tables and the waterproof faux leather upholstered seat of the chair

Mosaic Chair 02 by BRC Designs

Designer Benjamin Rollins Caldwell, of BRC Designs , is known for creating furniture in unusual materials and I’d say stained glass fits in that category. Mosaic Chair 02 references mid-century design with its low, angular frame, a frame that looks like a stained glass window. Inspired by “the abstract nature of stained glass windows,” the faceted chair is made up of half inch frosted tempered glass that is inset into a black, auto paint-covered steel frame. The goose down cushions are covered in lamb shearling that’s dyed red. The hard angles of the frame are balanced out with the softness of the cushions, making this one functional piece of art.

Weekly Six: 3.22.13

Happy Friday!!! Are you all ready for the weekend? I sure am. Hopefully now that it’s Spring, we’ll get a taste of some Spring weather this weekend.

Anyway, as per usual, here’s this week’s Weekly Six:

1 – These DIY glitter vases would be great for a shower centerpiece or as a gift for a friend.

2 – Melted cheese with bread isn’t exactly on my diet, but I am dying to try this Baked Fontina appetizer.

3 – Loving the contrast of the fur and the angles on this modern chair.

4 – This black & white room is fabulous, but that gold mirror with sideways text is killer.

5 – Wishing I had beautiful sliding doors such as these, especially as the warmer seasons approach us.

6 – How cool would it be to have a neon bathroom? The perfect place to get ready to start and end each day, in my opinion!

Have a great weekend! See you back here Monday.
