I love watching those HGTV shows where they do a digital mockup of what they’ll make the bathroom or kitchen look like. Do you ever watch those? The cabinets and vanities are so crisp and modern, and then when they actually do it in real life – oh, I want my house to look like those!
In my dream world, I would have someone come in with strong and durable furniture for bathrooms and style my bathroom up! Not that I don’t love my bathroom as it is now, but I would really love something more spacious and organized. And with shimmery glass tile and fancy shower heads. Towel warmers would be nice too for the cold winter months. A girl can dream, right?

The Etsy shop, CRESUS artisanat , run by Japan-based artist Haruhi, is a needlepoint and knitting wonderland. Between the coasters, bags, rugs and clothing, there isn’t an item you can say isn’t entirely unique and creative. Oh, to have one ounce of talent that Haruhi has! During Helsinki Design Week , I visited Habitare 2012 , a furniture and design fair that drew about 57,000 people over the five days it was open. There was such great work on display including a large amount of student designs and work by Finnish designers. The Ecobol display from Jouni Leino really caught my eye
