Back in 1962, drum teacher Jim Marshall opened up a small music shop in London. Fast-forward to now, his shop has morphed into the iconic global brand, Marshall . The company is known for their awesome amps that churn out their signature Marshall “crunch.” The Marshall Fridge is the company’s way of bringing the essence of their amps to any pad—no guitar skills necessary. You get Marshall’s classic style—in refrigerator form—that stores sodas or ice-cold beers (Gin, for me).

Amy Sia is an Australian born fashion designer who moved to London two years ago to pursue a career in textile print design. Her dreamy, painterly artwork combined with her signature bold use of color has quickly caught the attention of many major design magazines, as well as Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. We’re seriously enamored with her pillows, and created palettes with Colourlovers for three of them for this week’s CMYLK .

Dusty Diamonds is a collection of handmade stoneware with geometric relief patterns made by Swedish ceramicist Anna Elzer Oscarson . The limited edition pieces, like balls with lids, vases, and dishes, feature her signature faceted diamond-like surfaces that are full of dimension. Oscarson is also well known for keeping the tradition of Swedish ceramics alive. She worked closely with the Porslinsfabriken factory’s skilled ceramicists where she learned tried-and-true skills and developed the techniques you see here

Inspired by a hat John Ross’ mom Yasuko made for her son’s first New York winter, designers John Ross and Don Carney established PATCH NYC Inc. in the fall of 1997. Using hand-dyed wool from the Union Square Farmers Market and vintage buttons for embellishment, the designers created a small collection of hand-crochet wool hats that became an immediate success. PATCH NYC’s appreciation for color, vintage embroidery, appliqué and beading techniques quickly become the signature style of the brand.
