Magenta Studio began back in 1992 as a Gallery store in Jerusalem, Israel established by Ronen Bavli. It offered a variety of items and works of art by artists and designers and soon expanded to a design studio as well, to design and produce additional pieces to be sold at the store. The store closed in 1994, but the studio continued on, producing small series after series, and has increased over the years

Korean design studio Monocomplex has just produced TAP, a table and lamp made of birch and steel. The white contrasts with the gold, the wood with the metal — the series is a play on opposites.

Muurbloem, a Nederlands design studio that showcases amazing dimensional wallfashion, requests that “you forget all you know about regular wallpaper” as their “special collection contains elements you will never have never seen before.” With a large selection of interesting prints inspired by clothing, human senses and everyday shapes.
Muurbloem ships their wallpaper on rolls that have numbered lengths, and a handy installation sheet is available for download on their website. Each pattern is made on membrane paper, which is said to be essentially tear-resistant.
