Babele is a playful, self-produced lamp from brand new design studio based in Ivrea, Italy called MID (manifattura italiana design) . Their starting point was a classic abat-jour silhouette, which they played around with: disassembling it in plain sections, shuffling and putting them back in order, creating and defining light gaps.

Italian architect Claudia Bignoli designs under the name cbdisegno when hashing out her furniture designs. Designing furniture happens to be her true passion and her knowledge of shapes, volumes, and materials aids her in achieving that, like with her TATA lamp. Laser cut from a single sheet of Plexiglas, the rectangular rings are then fanned out from its original two-dimensional state to the three-dimensional form of the lamp. Pushpin Cork is a playful design by Kenyon Yeh that offers double duty. Designed for the Taiwan-based firm COOIMA , the multifunctional cork piece works as both a stool and a side table and will add a bit of quirk and fun to any space. The flexible piece allows you to sit on the smaller surface side or flip it over and use the larger one for a table. Yeh was inspired by your basic pushpin and wall corkboard, which obviously go together. So he combined the two and increased the scale to create the giant pushpin-shaped piece that it is today.

One by One is a series of chairs and stools by designer Alejandro Cerón where craft and mass production meet. His thoughts are that mass production cannot give you the same results that humans can through craft because of the human experiences that we bring to design. Handcrafted steel frames are combined with silicone rings that are cast in large numbers in various molds to create these playful and completely unique pieces. Depending on the color and size of the rings, the pieces appear more voluminous than others and create a colorful visual delight
