This series of hand-crafted lamps is based on a mathematical composition of a high-impact pattern. The kah-du collection by Ilanel Design Studio is reminiscent of the Op Art movement of the 1960s. Each lamp is visually striking and appears to be breathing. Each consists of a powder-coated wireframe with French Gros Grain ribbon

The latest design from o4i is Silenci, a redefinition of the traditional stackable wooden chair in wood and rubber. The solid wood frame is accented with flexible black rubber that not only helps with sound absorption, but also protexts the chair if it happens to fall. A perfect seating choice for schools, bars, or other public areas, the Silenci is also available in black and as a barstool. Silenci will be distributed by Swedish company de Nord

This series of plates by Nir Meiri are made from two basic materials: concrete and wood. I think that the feet look like ballerina toes, delicately balancing the treats. This project is currently on exhibit in the Mishkan gallery in Holon, Israel.
