I am cracking up over the title of this chandelier, called the Bird Poop Chandelier, made by Wyatt Little . Paying homage to his elementary schooldays, when he found himself standing below a beautiful Oak tree, shortly after being pooped on by a rather inconsiderate bird. Even though he says it was a regrettable moment, he took this particular memory and created something beautiful and lighthearted. Having been pooped on two separate occasions both while riding inside of a car , I can relate to the whimsy of this piece

These copper mirrors from London-based designer Michael Anastassiades are simply stunning. Copper covers a wooden frame in these geometric shapes that extend from the wall giving a far more beautiful look than your average mirror. They are minimal in design but with an edge. Each of the three styles comes in a limited edition of 10.

Spanish designer Jaime Hayon created these Showtime Vases for BD Barcelona Design back in 2006 and I still get happy every time I look at them. The entire Showtime collection (which features furniture as well) was inspired by old MGM musicals, therefore all of the pieces are both classical and playful. Each two-piece vase is made of enameled stoneware porcelain that comes in either all white or your choice color with a white interior.

Les frères Plo , designed by Gaspard Graulich , is a collection of furniture that functions as either side tables or display cabinets. With four variations that differ in shape and color, they are made of dark wood boards held together via an interlocking system that provides a pop of color and makes each piece stand out. From Belgium-born, Italy-based designer Joeri Reynaert comes the Tuberack shelf / space divider. Tuberack is easy to assemble and made of solid oak. The clever piece uses no screws or glue for assembly but instead is held together with rubber tubes that can also hold your books and magazines. London-based designer Phil Cuttance created a series of handmade black and white vases from discarded plastic, an extension of his Weld Furniture collection from 2009. Each vase is handcrafted and individually numbered and made using hot air welding that connects each plastic shape together. The ABS plastic that is used comes from discarded off-cut pieces from a local London fabricator
