Inspired by the simple slip-on wooden clothes pin (or “peg”), Canadian designer William McDonald designed a lamp that functions in the same way. Called Peg Lamp , the lamp uses minimal materials like aluminum, wood and felt to create a simple sliding mechanism so the user can adjust the light as needed. TOTEMS is a new set of stackable wooden blocks designed by Dino Sanchez . For people of all ages to use in the playroom or at the office, each block is handmade in the US from solid oak and walnut with non-toxic finishes. Four blocks to a set feature four unique faces and each measure 1.75″ cubed. The TOTEMS are now available through various retailers and through the Dino Sanchez Shop . Pia Wüstenberg will be showing her Stacking Vessels at the London Design Festival later this month. Made of three different types of material, these vases are a nice harmony of color and texture. I especially like the unfinished look of the wooden tops. He sent me over a few of his pieces and I fell for the uniquely constructed Coban Buffet . Just look at that base – it’s made from materials found on a farm including rusted plow heads

Isometric is a wooden shelf that represents the “isometric grid paper used by artists and designers to represent three dimensions using two.”
Designed by Jenny Walsh, the Isometric shelf is on display at the I Heart Design Gallery in Cork, Ireland.
Jenny Walsh is based out of Dublin, Ireland. The Isometric is a handmade piece and many of her designs are offered in limited editions.

Brown Faux Leather Convertible Sofa Bed Sectional Soren
For a comfortable and space-saving seating option, the Soren Sleeper Sofa offers features ideal for small apartments or if you wish to make good use of every inch of your living room. This L-shaped sectional features a hidden bed and mattress folded within the sofa and a spacious area for storage of blankets, pillows, and more in the chaise lounge. Both the sofa and chaise are constructed with wooden frames, dense foam cushioning, and chocolate brown faux leather upholstery. In between the two pieces are sets of metal brackets, allowing the sofa and chaise to be secured to one another. Finishing off the sectional are black wooden legs with non-marking feet. The sectional requires some assembly and is also available with a right-facing chaise.
